General terms and conditions of sale

Promotions : Please note that all promotions mentioned on the Clinique Lafontaine website, its various channels, as well as in its different points of sale, may be modified without notice.

Customer responsibility for the delivery address

Customers are responsible for verifying the accuracy of their shipping address before finalizing the order. Errors may result in additional charges for reshipping.

Other conditions:

  • Payment methods: Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Affirm Financing (formerly PayBright).
  • Purchase conditions: Clinique Lafontaine distributes its products exclusively. They cannot be sold in large retail stores without prior agreement. Any violation may result in the cessation of supply.
  • Product promotion: Any promotion on a website or catalog requires written authorization. The use of visuals (photos, models, etc.) for magazines, newspapers, or the Internet is prohibited without written consent.

Delivery, pickup, and additional fees

Carrier selection 

Clinique Lafontaine chooses the carrier. Upon special request, the client can recommend one, but assumes the costs.

Free package pickup in store in Drummondville 

As soon as the package is ready, you will be informed. The package can be held for a period of up to 21 days. If you are unable to pick it up, your order will be canceled and you will be refunded.  

Delivery times once the order is processed:

More than 90% of our customers in Quebec receive their packages within 1 to 3 business days! A tracking number will indicate the expected date. Delivery times in Canada may vary due to distances, holidays, the summer period, weather, or high demand.

Shipping fees:  

  • No minimum order amount is required to place an order.  
  • Free shipping for orders of 84.95$ and more before taxes, *except for remote areas and heavy or oversized items.

Certain remote areas with postal codes have additional fees imposed by our carriers and are subject to extra charges. Please be aware that in certain circumstances where the carrier applies unusual fees for delivery to a Canadian area, we may need to confirm these charges with you before proceeding with the shipment. Please note that in some cases, part of these fees may be charged to you. 

Orders over $499.99 require a signature (value of $1.95 offered for free) upon delivery to confirm receipt, thereby reducing the risk of theft for valuable packages.

Package delivery WITH signature

The package will be delivered with a required signature. In case of absence, it will be dropped off at a pickup point (the time frame you have to collect your package depends on the carrier). After this period, it will be returned to Clinique Lafontaine.  

Reshipments are not free. A fee of $19.95 applies for a return. If you prefer a refund, it will not include the initial shipping fee. You can also pick up your package in Drummondville within 14 days, after which a refund will be processed.

Delivery of packages WITHOUT signature

The package will be delivered to the delivery address. We do everything to help the carrier make it as inconspicuous as possible from the street, but in some cases, the package may only be in front of the entrance door in plain sight. Please make sure to pick it up as soon as possible to avoid theft, freezing, or any other inconvenience.

Product returns

    It happens that a purchase does not meet your expectations. Our return policy is the same online and in-store.

    • Returns or exchanges: Accepted within 15 days with invoice, products intact and in original packaging.
    • Procedure: Contact our customer service for approval before returning a product.
    • Warranty conditions :
      • *Upon purchase, for the Flexi-Pro Treatment Table, Flexi-Pro Electric Treatment Table, Optimal-Electric, and Ultimate Electric, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and the warranty includes parts and advice, but excludes labor.

    Up to 15 days following the purchase:

    • Order error or defective product: We will correct any error on our part free of charge, including return shipping costs. A refund, repair, or exchange is possible (parts and labor included*). Please provide a clear photo or video of your entire order, along with details about the issue. We can arrange for a pickup of the product at our expense, depending on the situation.
    • Non-defective product: Refund or exchange possible. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. 

    From the 16th day following the purchase:

    • Order error or non-defective product: No refunds or exchanges.
    • Defective product under warranty: According to the product's warranty, a repair (parts and labor included*) or a replacement may be carried out. Return shipping costs will be at our expense*.

      Clinique Lafontaine is the sole owner of all the information collected on this site. We will not sell, exchange, or rent this information to others for purposes other than those described in this policy.

      Cookies:

      A cookie, commonly referred to as a "cookie," is a small amount of information that is stored on the user's hard drive and contains data about the user. The use of a cookie on our site is not linked to any personal information that is confidential. As soon as the user closes their browser, the cookie simply erases itself. However, navigation will be limited in certain sections of the site. We use cookies to facilitate your current visit to the site as well as your next visit, as cookies remember your language and the country of your location. Here is a list of cookie files that we use. We have listed them here so that you have the option to choose whether you want to allow them or not. _session_id, unique session identifier, allows Shopify to store information related to your session (referrer, landing page, etc.). _shopify_visit, no data retained, persists for 30 minutes since the last visit. Used by the internal statistics tracking system of our website provider to record the number of visits. _shopify_uniq, no data retained, expires at midnight (based on the visitor's location) the following day. Calculates the number of visits to a store by a unique customer. cart, unique identifier, persists for 2 weeks, stores information related to your shopping cart. _secure_session_id, unique session identifier storefront_digest, unique identifier, undefined if the store has a password, it is used to determine if the current visitor has access.

      Payment:

      If you make your purchase through a direct payment gateway, Shopify will store your credit card information. This information is encrypted in accordance with the data security standard established by the payment card industry (PCI-DSS). The information related to your purchase transaction is kept as long as necessary to complete your order. Once your order is completed, the information related to the purchase transaction is deleted. All direct payment gateways comply with the PCI-DSS standard, managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which results from the joint effort of companies such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. The requirements of the PCI-DSS standard ensure the secure processing of credit card data by our store and its service providers.

      Security:

      This website is designed to take all necessary precautions to protect user information. When a user submits confidential information on the site, the information is protected, whether online or offline. We do everything possible to protect user information. All information we collect, not just confidential information, is subject to restrictions in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific task (for example, the billing manager or a customer service representative) have access to the client's confidential information. Our employees are required to use a password-protected screensaver when they leave their workstation. When they return, they must enter their password again to access your confidential information. Additionally, all our employees are informed about our practices ensuring security and confidentiality.       Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell you our services and products. Your data is stored in the data storage system and databases of Shopify, and in the general application of Shopify. Your data is kept on a secure server protected by a firewall.
