Main constituents: Monoterpenols (80 to 95%) (therefore Geraniol 70 to 85%, Linalool 2 to 4%) Esters (5 to 35%) (Geranyl Acetate). Monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, terpenic aldehydes.
Uses: Massages, inhalations, baths, and diffusions.
Point massage: Add 1 drop of palmarosa to a cream or to 4 drops of vegetable oil, then apply to the affected area.
Massage: To achieve a 5% dilution, ideal for massages, mix 5 ml of essential oil with 100 ml of vegetable oil, alcohol-free gel, cream, or virgin massage emulsion.
Inhalation: Apply 2 or 3 drops on a tissue and breathe in for a few minutes. Stop if you feel any discomfort. Repeat as often as necessary OR Boil water, remove from heat, pour into a bowl, add a few drops of essential oil, cover your head with a towel, and breathe gently.
In bath: Add 5 drops of pure essential oil either to water, bath foam, or a handful of sea salt.
Essential oil diffusers: Add a few drops to a diffuser.
Duration: 10 to 15 minutes depending on the size of the room.
