The balsam fir contains a good percentage of bornyl acetate. This essential oil acts directly on moods, like a forest bath in diffusion and topical application. It acts on the respiratory and nervous systems. Its active ingredients have an action joint and muscle pain reliever, useful for the rheumatism, cramps, and neuralgias. Its action is optimized by black spruce and hemlock.

Point massage applied locally to the chest and back: apply 3 to 4 drops of essential oil to the affected area or to be treated. Mix the essential oil with the vegetable oil of your choice.
Massage : To obtain a 5% dilution, ideal for massages, mix 5 ml of essential oil with 100 ml of vegetable oil, alcohol-free gel, cream, or virgin massage emulsion.
Inhalation : Apply 2 or 3 drops on a tissue and breathe in for a few minutes. Stop if you feel any discomfort. Repeat as often as necessary OR Boil water, remove from heat, pour into a bowl, add a few drops of essential oil, cover your head with a towel, and breathe gently.
Essential oil diffusers: Add a few drops to a diffuser. Duration: 10 to 15 minutes depending on the size of the room.

In cases of dry cough, irritation, or whooping coughIt is also not recommended. Prolonged use could lead to inflammation of the kidneys (nephritis). May not be suitable for sensitive skin.
