Neroli contains a good percentage of linalool, which is a recognized calming agent for the nervous system and an anxiolytic. It inhibits the binding of glutamate in the cerebral cortex and inhibits the release of acetylcholine, reducing the opening time of ion channels at the neuromuscular junction. Just like chamomile, this essential oil is also used against the emotional shocks. It pairs very well with lemon, grapefruit, and Indian verbena.

Massage: To achieve a 5% dilution, ideal for massages, mix 5 ml of essential oil with 100 ml of vegetable oil, alcohol-free gel, cream, or virgin massage emulsion.
In case of decreased libido: Massage the lower back twice a day until improvement.
Essential oil diffuser: Add 15 drops of essential oil to a diffuser for 10 to 15 minutes once a day for a room measuring 10' X 12' (3 m X 4 m) or according to the size of the room.
Optimal positioning: Treatment room, living room, family room, and bedroom.
Dry inhalation: Apply 2 or 3 drops of essential oil on a tissue and breathe in for two minutes, morning and evening to help reduce stress levels.
