3 methods of using JOINT suction cups (depending on the case):
Quick method: Press and release the suction cup on the affected area, repeat as advised by the specialized therapist.
For static and dynamic use
Dynamic: To facilitate the regular movement of the suction cup on the area you want to relieve:
On dry skin: Apply oil or massage gel.
Apply a body soap in the shower on wet skin.
- Place the suction cup ARTHRO Place on your skin and compress from the top with your thumbs to create a vacuum suction.
- Use the suction cups in sweeping/sliding from bottom to top and/or in a zigzag motion according to the specialized therapist's advice.
Static: You can leave your suction cups on a problematic area for 2 to 15 minutes to promote blood flow. You will notice that the area turns red - an indication of healthy blood circulation.
Maintenance
For professional use, clean with hot soapy water and disinfect with SaniGerm. For personal use, simply wash in hot soapy water.
Suction cups can become more opaque over time.
Warning
Possible side effects for use in dynamics:
Temporary redness, tingling, or itching may be possible, but generally normal due to increased vascularity of the treated area. These effects will disappear shortly after the treatment/massage.
Possible side effects for static use:
Bruising or intense redness is normal for this type of application. All marks are temporary, but some may take up to a week or more to completely disappear. Darker discoloration is also normal and usually indicates more stagnation and waste present in the area.
Never heat the suction cups. Do not boil or put in the microwave. Do not use directly on pure essential oils. Keep out of reach of children.
