The hemlock contains a good percentage of borneol and/or bornyl acetate, which allows it to act directly on the limbic brain. It is recognized as an effective antidepressant in a daily night diffusion treatment. The borneol it contains in good proportion is very effective as a sedative and for combating fatigue and stress. Its active ingredients act topically as pain relievers joint and muscle, useful for the rheumatism, cramps, and neuralgias.
