The MyoFloss allows practicing the flossing technique. This technique aims to mobilize different tissue and muscle planes assisted by a compression elastic band. Compression enhances the therapeutic effects of muscle mobilizations, neuro-proprioceptive bands, trigger point techniques, and more.
Use this technique to relieve pain and restore range of motion restrictions in the upper and lower limbs caused by:
- Muscle pain.
- Musculoskeletal stiffness leading to ligament pain and joint restrictions.
- Les œdèmes.
- Localized tingling sensations.
- Tissue adhesions and postoperative scars.
Flossing can also be used for:
- Promote the recovery process or reduce muscle soreness after intense physical activity.
- Neuromuscular disorders such as spasticity (spasms) and hemiparesis (muscle weakness deficits).
- Increase range and mobility.
- Stimulate and strengthen muscles.
Since flossing has contraindications and specificities, professional training Strongly recommended.

Stretch the band to 70% to 80% of its maximum elasticity.
Move the joint / muscle group in the direction in which it normally moves

Care instructions
As latex slowly degrades upon contact with sweat and body heat, it is important to properly maintain compression bands.
- Keep the MyoFloss in a dry and dark place (in its storage bag).
- Avoid direct sunlight. It can cause fading and premature drying.
- Avoid storing at temperatures below 6 degrees Celsius.
- After use, simply wash with warm water and mild soap (e.g. dish soap), then rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
- Do not put in the washing machine or dryer.
- Inspect before each use. If cracks appear on the band, stop using it and replace the product.
Contraindications
Do not practice the flossing technique:
- On a wound or a burn.
- Apply directly to the skin in case of allergy to rubber or latex. If necessary, the application can be done over clothing or a layer of fabric.
- If an acute inflammatory state caused by a microbial infection is present.
- If chronic inflammatory disorders are known.
- In case of muscle atrophy and diseases.
- In case of severe osteoporosis.
- On varicose veins.
- In case of occlusive arterial diseases or any other circulatory disorders that reduce the lumen (caliber) of the arteries.
- In case of chronic heart failure.
- In case of use of anticoagulant or antiplatelet.
- In case of cancerous tumors since there is a risk of metastases.
- In case the customer refuses the treatment application.
Undesirable side effects
Since flossing is ideally applied with a powerful stimulus, the following side effects are possible:
- Bruises.
- A short-term discomfort.
- Skin discomforts.
- Neurovegetative symptoms such as palpitations, sweating, dizziness, or vertigo. These will go away on their own after a certain time.
As the compression band is usually wrapped rather tightly, the care may be uncomfortable, but it should always remain tolerable. Make sure to regularly check the customer's comfort during the use of MyoFloss.
If tingling or sharp pain occurs during the treatment, remove the strip immediately.
If skin irritation or pain occurs during application, use any effective and appropriate soothing technique.
