Resources tools required:
- 2 shells
- 2 Thermabliss refill sachets (1 sachet per shell)
Preparation of shellfish:
Once the customer is comfortably seated, the shells must be prepared by wiping the outside with a sanitizing solution or mild soap before use. Shells are non-porous, do not absorb oils or bacteria, and can be sanitized in seconds!
Activation of ThermaBliss:
Open the ThermaBliss refill at the notch.
Pour the contents into the natural shell or ThermaBliss porcelain.
Add lukewarm water up to the notch, then pour it into the shell to activate it.
Follow the protocol instructions for the desired treatment.
After use, empty the contents into a trash can or compost bin and rinse.
ATTENTION : Once activated, ThermaBliss shells should be used during a massage to direct heat towards the client. If not in use, they will continue to heat up. If they become too hot, simply wrap them momentarily in a cool, damp cloth.
During the massage: Always check the temperature of the shell before application. If the shell becomes too hot, have a damp towel on hand to cool it down. Avoid dipping the shell in cold water, as it will cool down too quickly. Never leave a shell stationary on a client - risk of burning.
ATTENTION : Shells can become extremely hot if left for more than 10 minutes. The slower the massage, the deeper the heat will penetrate into the muscles.
Maintenance
Once the treatment is finished, empty the shells (discard or compost). Clean the shell thoroughly with an antibacterial soap. Let it dry. Store the shells, without the cap, in its plastic pouch.
